We are a registered charity in the City of Chelmsford providing facilities to the young Men and Women of Chelmsford and the surrounding area, from our building, Harway House that sits on land gifted to Chelmsford Boys’ Club in 1953.
At our own sessions, we offer members the opportunity to have fun , engage with their peers in a safe warm environment, offering an activity based programme which assists in drawing the members off the streets and out of their homes into the Club.
Our work provides them with other possibilities and shows them an alternative way of living via, preventative issue-based work, through the activities we offer which improves their conditions of life and wellbeing.
These Include, but are not restricted to, Drugs/ Alcohol abuse, Sexual Issues, (Including Pregnancy), Racism, Sexism, promoting our Equal Opportunities Policy and Crime.
Additionally though our affiliation with Essex Boys and Girls Clubs, we provide opportunities to engage in competition with other Clubs and take part in a wide variety of outdoor pursuits at their centres in Essex , Wales and the Lake District.
